The leading energy company Resalta is proud to announce the establishment of its international partnership with strategically oriented enterprise Metal Corp for a 15-year period, where the focus of the cooperation will be on the construction, maintenance and operation of a photovoltaic power plant in Serbia. For more than two decades, our partner has been a leading company in the metalworking industry on Serbian territory and dominate its market segment in quality, innovation and customer satisfaction. Their commitment to green transition and sustainable operations is evident in their environmental management activities, therefore, we are excited to partner with them in the green transition processes.
The planned solar power plant will be located at Metal Corp's production site in Stara Moravica, which will allow our partner company to produce energy for its own business needs and to feed surplus energy into the grid. With a total capacity of 189 kWp, the solar power plant will generate 208.4 MWh of clean energy annually, and simultaneously, it will contribute 76.23% of the green energy in Metal Corp's total consumption. At the same time, the company’s C02 emissions will be reduced by 139.63 tonnes, that is equivalent to the emissions produced by 30 cars in one year.
The international project also strengthens Resalta's strategic position in the CEE region, particularly its mission of a sustainable future for our planet. Finally, the company’s innovation and cost-effective energy solutions enable it to contribute to Serbia's goal of increasing renewable energy production to 40% by 2040.
