Resalta is pleased to announce it has signed a new public-private partnership with Preserje Elementary School in the municipality of Brezovica, Slovenia. The school, which has already undergone an energy retrofit, will receive two biomass boilers of a combined capacity of 200 kW. The biomass pellet fueled boilers will replace extra light fuel oil ones, thus lowering the school’s environmental impact.
In addition to installing the biomass boilers and providing heat, Resalta will entirely renovate the boiler room at the school. The new boilers will be connected to Resalta’s central management system and will provide a reliable, energy efficient solution that will improve conditions for pupils and staff at the school. The contract duration is 15 years, during which Resalta will take care of operations and maintenance. The investment value is approximately 176,000, provided entirely the private partner, Resalta.
As one of the private partners in the energy retrofit of the City of Ljubljana project which received the European Commission's Energy Service Award for Best Energy Service Project in 2019, Resalta is a strong advocate of the PPP model throughout the region. Following numerous projects in the public sector in Slovenia, it has expanded its public operations to Croatia and Serbia and will continue to provide support to public institutions and municipalities seeking to improve their energy efficiency at a low cost and with a trusted partner.
