Situation before the contract and client requirements
A neighbourhood in the town of Medvode was using a natural gas boiler for heating several blocks of buildings.
The required heat was 810 MWh annually and the heating costs were too high for the neighbourhood.
Resalta solution
Resalta analyzed the actual heating energy demand and installed an appropriately-sized cogeneration of heat and power (CHP) plant on natural gas.
Resalta installed a CHP unit with a 50 kW electricity capacity and 80 kW of thermal power capacity.
Resalta is maintaining the plant and monitors the system through GGE‘s central control system (web access) in real time.
