Situation before the contract and client requirements
The client was using natural gas as the energy source for heating the building, requiring 764 MWh annually.
The client wanted the lowest price of thermal energy.
Resalta solution
The analysis of the current heating energy demand and the integration of an appropriately-sized cogeneration of heat and power (CHP) unit on natural gas.
Resalta installed a CHP unit with an electric power capacity of 50 kW and a thermal power capacity of 80 kW.
Resalta is operating and maintaining the plant, monitoring the system through Resalta‘s central control system (web access) in real time and selling heat and electricity to the client.
